Mr. Baker has been a full time consultant since 1995, and a business owner since 2004. Mr. Baker is also an AIPG Certified Professional Geologist (CPG).
RMBAKER LLC specializes in comprehensive geological and hydrogeological explorations of karst sensitive areas and sinkholes, along with other “geological hazards” such as buried muck, fill and debris, etc. Mr. Baker is an expert in the use of geophysical methodologies, and has considerable experience with the sensitivities associated with insurance investigations of sinkholes in Florida.
RMBAKER LLC is a full service well logging provider, with both video and geophysical capabilities to a depth of 4500 feet.
RMBAKER LLC provides technical support for North American mineral exploration programs, with the capacity to provide support for local mining operations.
Skills
- Expertise in the mapping of sinkholes and the identification of “sinkhole activity” as it relates to property insurance investigations.
- Expertise in the performance and review of geophysical surveys; including ground penetrating radar, multi-electrode resistivity imaging, and 4-electrode Wenner soundings.
- Expertise in the performance, logging and analysis of standard penetration test (SPT) borings and cone penetration test (CPT) borings.
- Broad experience with identifying karstic landforms, karstic processes and assessing risk factors for sinkhole formation.
- Broad experience in fundamental geosciences investigations that integrate geological, geophysical, hydrogeological and geospatial concepts.
- Broad experience in mineral assessments and mineral exploration programs.
- Broad experience in borehole geophysical logging equipment, data collection and data analysis.
